I am so glad you are here!
I am Ashley, mother to two girls, and soon to be wifey. I am a joy seeker, nature lover, book hoarder, writer, and taco connoisseur.
The idea for this blog came to me while going through a huge transition regarding my health which included a diagnoses of a cerebral cavernous malformation that had bled, and brain surgery as a treatment option. Health scares can really get you thinking about life and how you are living it, especially when you are granted a "second chance".
I travel to tiny towns, mostly in the Midwest, and write about the things that make these towns awesome!
