The doctor walked in to the room with a concerned look on her face, "Your CT came back showing a bleed in your brain,"she said. Those were words I never thought I would hear in my lifetime. It quickly became very clear that this was a pivotal moment in my life.
These pivotal moments can really put life into perspective. It can nudge you to embrace a new perspective, seek adventure, and start saying "yes!" to all the things you have been too scared to do.
During those long hours spent healing after brain surgery I had time to contemplate life. Who is important to me? What do I want to spend more time doing? What brings me joy? It is where this journey begins.
As a little girl I remember my family would pile into the truck and hit the back roads for a Sunday drive. I loved this almost weekly ritual. I looked forward to those adventures - exploring, taking in all the sights, sounds, (and even smells when we would have the windows down).
I am here to reclaim Sunday drives and put a little twist on them! I will be traveling to tiny towns and sharing my findings, and also including what makes these towns awesome!
